The Braunfels Foundation Trust (BFT) and the Baron and Baroness members of the Trust are happy to announce that 32 graduating seniors from our area have been awarded the BFT “First Step Career Vocational/ Technical” Scholarship.
The Projects Committee worked with both local school districts and their high schools to solicit applications from graduating high school seniors interested in post-secondary education for vocational or technical careers and or the testing required to take the next step in the process of work after high school. The board has allocated up to $48,000 toward these scholarships.
